"The Early Years" is designed to capture and share some of the highlights of my training with Sifu Larry Hartsell from 1974-1982 as well as with Sifu Dan Inosanto, from 1978-1988. Although I continued to train regularly with both beyond these time periods, I feel these years represented a time of accelerated and dynamic growth for both of them.
